The next-gen Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited will be shown for the first time at the Los Angeles motor show.

The company has revealed its New Wrangler SUV, and the car will make its public debut at the 2017 Los Angeles motor show.

The car will be powered by either a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol or 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine. The cabin isn’t very different, but there’s the option of a 7.0-inch and an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The larger one features a satnav, while both systems have climate control systems integrated.

There’s a host of info available on the screen for off-roading, ranging from axle status and steering angle to the car’s altitude, longitude and latitude and pitch and roll angles.

There’s lots of safety tech as well, including automatic emergency braking and Rain Brake Support, and adaptive steering weighting that changes the steering setup to suit different conditions. The more hardcore models will feature even more off-road tech.
