Jeep’s crosses 25,000 units of Compass from its plant

FCA's Ranjangaon plant is where the company makes its Compass and it crossed this important milestone in February when 20,000 units were produced for the local market and 5,000 were exported.

For right-hand-drive markets like Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom, Jeep makes its cars in the Pune facility. The brand currently uses local content to the tune of 65 percent, allowing it to price the Compass competitively. The company sold 15,245 units since its launch in July 2017.

The waiting period is now one month (it was four earlier) and our sources say that FCA is working on ramping up production.

FCA shares the Ranjangaon facility with Tata Motors as well.
