Kawasaki KX65 & KX112 Launched in India, but You Cannot Ride Them

With the introduction of two new adventure bikes, Kawasaki India has increased its motorbike lineup in the nation. Kawasaki KX112 and Kawasaki KX65 launched in India. Kawasaki KX65 is renowned for its affordability and smallest size, yet it has the lowest displacement engine in India. 


Kawasaki KX65 priced at Rs. 3.12 lakhs (ex-showroom) (starting price) has been launched in India by the Japanese two-wheeler behemoth. In addition, a larger adventure bike Kawasaki KX112 priced at Rs. 4.87 lakhs (ex-showroom). These two will be joining the pre-existing models such as the Kawasaki KLX 450R, Kawasaki KX100, Kawasaki KX250, Kawasaki KLX 140G, Kawasaki KX450, and Kawasaki KLX 110.


The Kawasaki KX65 adventure motorbike weighs 60 kg and is powered by a 64 cc liquid-cooled two-stroke single-cylinder carbureted engine. A six-speed transmission is attached to this engine. The 14-inch multi-spoke front wheel and 12-inch rear wheel power the adventure bike. It has a 33 mm telescopic front fork and a mono-shock rear suspension for suspension duty. Front and rear disc brakes are placed in charge of stopping.



As per the manufacturer, the Kawasaki KX112 adventure bike is intended for the mid-level offroad category. It is a Lime Green bike, powered by a 112 cc two-stroke liquid-cooled engine with exhaust power valves. A six-speed transmission is attached to the engine. This motorcycle has a 19-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. The bike contains adjustable 36 mm USD front forks for suspension duties.



However, the Kawasaki motorbikes are not road legal in India yet. Therefore, unlike conventional road legal motorcycles, they don’t have headlights, taillights, turn indicators, rear view mirrors as they are meant for motocross events.
