Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Launch Unveiled for January 1st, 2024; Checkout Details

Kawasaki India other than showcasing the Ninja ZX-6R at the IBW 2023 has finally unveiled its official launch date as 1st January for the Indian market.

Kawasaki India recently unveiled the ZX-6R motorbike at the event of India Bike Week 2003 for which they’ve confirmed the launch date to be 1st January, 2024 for the Indian market. For the year 2024, the motorbike ZX-6R acquires a minimal cosmetic upgrade and the engine now adheres to the largest emission standards. It is anticipated that the 2024 Kawasaki ZX-6R is going to cost approximately INR 11 Lakh (ex-showroom). 

The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a supersport motorbike that suggests that it is going to come with a brand-new set of rear-set footpegs and clip-on handlebars. The bike has attained some cosmetic upgrades and is now been inspired by its elder sibling, the Kawasaki ZX-10R. It also equips a split headlamp setup with LED lighting elements.

The Kawasaki ZX-6R is all powered up by a 636 cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine that churns out a peak power of 129 bhp at a roaring 13,000 rpm and a maximum output of 69 Nm at 10,800 rpm. It is also coupled with a six-speed gearbox which cis equipped with a quickshifter and slip-and-assist clutch.

The brand provides a lot of rider aids such as power modes, anti-lock braking system, and traction control. It is also equipped with a 4.3 inches color TFT instrument cluster that accesses smartphone connectivity employing the Rideology application. And on the offer, customers are also getting all LED lighting. 

The motorbike is propped by a perimeter frame that is developed from aluminum. It is suspended by 41 mm inverted forks in the front part and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. The bike gets fully adjustable suspension units. The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R takes brakes by employing 310 mm discs in the front that utilizes 4-piston calipers and a 220 mm single disc brake at the rear with a single-piston caliper. 

Other than showcasing the Kawasaki ZX-6R motorcycle, the brand launched the long-awaited W175 Street motorcycle at the India Bike Week 2023. This bike is positioned right above the W175 in the lineup. The Street variant comes equipped with alloy wheels, set of new vibrant color schemes, and tubeless tyres. The motorcycle is currently prices at INR 1.35 Lakh (ex-showroom).
