The company wants to open the showrooms before the end of 2017, taking its total to 22.

Dealerships in Kolhapur, Nagpur, Vizag, Calicut, Mangalore, Kolkata, Dehradun, Bhubaneshwar, Ludhiana and Goa will all open soon, according to the company. All 10 of these dealerships will be up and running by the end of 2017. Kawasaki will then have a total of 22 dealerships in India.

The company ended its eight-year alliance with Bajaj this year on April 1, 2017. So, Kawasaki had to start production from a newly opened facility in Chakan, Pune. First, it opened 12 dealerships in metro cities and other developed cities, and is now opening more to cater to demand.

Currently, each existing dealer has its own service centre and eight dealers now run a mobile service van in selected cities. The last bike the company launched is the limited-edition Z900, which features a new colour scheme but remains mechanically unchanged.
