Anzen Kawasaki is offering Versys 650 owners up to 90 percent exchange rate of their bike's ex-showroom price if they buy the new Versys 1000. This exchange rate is subjected to change depending on the condition of the motorcycle being exchanged. This deal is only being offered by Anzen Kawasaki in Mumbai.
The Japanese motorcycle maker recently introduced the Kawasaki Versys 1000 in the Indian market 10 days back with a price tag of Rs. 10.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The pre-bookings for the adventure motorcycle commenced in December last year. Kawasaki is assembling the CKD kits in India to cut the heavy duties.
Powering the Kawasaki Versys 1000 is a 1043cc, in-line, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power output of 120 BHP with a peak torque of 102 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Versys 1000 competes with the likes of the Triumph Tiger 800 XR, Honda Africa Twin, Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and the Ducati Multistrada 950.
