Kawasaki India has updated the standard W175 for the Indian market. Aside from upgrading this model, it recently launched the W175 Street motorcycle at the 2023 India Bike Week. The standard model will now come with notable modifications in pricing, and it will get new colors for the 2024 model year. The W175 is now more affordable, as Kawasaki has slashed the price of this motorcycle in India by INR 25,000. It is currently available in two color schemes, Candy Persimmon and Ebony Red, and with the existing colors, it will now be priced at INR 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom) and INR 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The Standard W175 now comes with two additional metallic paint finishes: Metallic Ocean Blue and Metallic Graphite Grey, priced at INR 1.31 lakh and INR 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The revised prices are now less than W175 Street. The Ocean Blue variant of the standard motorcycle is INR 4,000 cheaper than the recently launched W175 Street.

Kawasaki W175 is based on the W-series variants of the 1960s. The 1960s models were in turn based on the British vertical-dual standard bikes of that era. The W175 motorcycle has a retro design, which is highlighted by its teardrop-shaped fuel tank. Kawasaki has not made any mechanical variations in the retro-style W175. It is powered by the same air-cooled 177-cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 12.9 bhp and 13.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Compared to the W175 Street, the standard model has a taller seat height, spoke wheels, and marginally more ground clearance. The W175 motorcycle also gets a larger 270 mm front disc brake, and it is fitted with front telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers at the back.
The recently launched model Kawasaki W175 Street is priced at INR 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The W175 Street also comes with a retro-style circular multi-reflector headlamp, highlighting the classic charm of the standard model. The two-wheeler manufacturer is offering the new W175 Street in two color schemes: Metallic Moondust Gray and Candy Emerald Green.
