KTM India’s ‘Great Ladakh Adventure Tour' to Begin from August 21

The Great Ladakh Adventure Tour will begin from August 21 and it will be a 14-day tour.

The premium motorcycle brand KTM has announced the Great Ladakh Adventure Tour from August 21 to September 3. It is basically going to be a 14-day tour and is conceptualized as the apex adventure event under the property of KTM Pro-Experiences. It is further going to see the participation of KTM 250 and 390 Adventure owners from across the country. Interested customers can get themselves registered by visiting  https://ktm.bajajauto.com/pro-experience/adventure-tours/great-ladakh. The total cost of the tour amounts to Rs 35000. Furthermore, it is limited to only 20 KTM Adventure customers. 


For this Great Ladakh Adventure Tour, special routes have been curated through the less travelled paths of Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri and Siachen. The route is planned in the following manner - Chandigarh- Manali- Jispa- Sarchu -Leh- Nubra Valley- Pangong Tso- Tso Moriri-Sarchu- Manali- Chandigarh. All the riders will have to conquer over 2,300 km traversing multiple terrains like tarmac, hills, sand dunes, dry riverbeds, slush, gravel, mud, river crossing, forests and twisties. 


KTM has collaborated with Padma Shri awardee Ajeet Bajaj and his award-winning adventure tour company ‘Snow Leopard Adventures’. With their help, this tour has been curated through uncharted territories. They will also be managing all the logistics and stay arrangements of the tour. Furthermore, this Great Ladakh Adventure Tour will be led by KTM Experts - Varad More, Nilesh Dhumal & Sangram Patil. They will also be conducting pre-tour training sessions. Padma Shri awardee Ajeet Bajaj will be giving a motivational speech. Besides these, there will be a special set of high-altitude KTM Adventure Academy training at Nubra that will be conducted at 12000+ ft. The tour will also be accompanied by a breakdown vehicle, service support, expert doctors, and paramedic for the safety and convenience of the riders. An adventure sports insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakhs will be provided to each person going on the tour.
