Lectrix EV has launched its new Battery Swap Network in Delhi, India. The company is the electric mobility division of the SAR Group. The new Battery Swap Network will offer customers the convenience of unlimited charging via a monthly subscription. With this new initiative, the EV maker is aiming to reduce the challenges related to daily vehicle charging.
To use the new charging station, owners of electric two-wheelers have to pay a monthly subscription of INR 2,299. The subscription will provide EV users access to swap depleted batteries with charged ones at the new swap facility. The company stated that the battery swapping process is time-saving, and users can simply scan and replace the vehicle's batteries in just a few seconds.

As of now, the Lectrix battery-swapping network is in operation at 20 locations in Delhi. The company is working on installing its charging stations in 500 locations across four cities in India. The brand also announced that these charging stations can accommodate both types of EVs, i.e., smart and non-smart ones.
Lectrix EV has also unveiled the LXS two-wheeler in the Indian market. The Lectrix LXS is a sustainable transportation option for customers. This latest offering from the company boasts impressive capabilities and provides an enhanced riding experience.
The MD & CEO of SAR Electric Mobility, K Vijaya Kumar, said, "We understand the challenges faced by EV users, and the Lectrix Battery Swap Network is our answer to the range anxiety and charging woes. Our aim is to establish a dense swapping network across 500 locations in four cities. We are already live at 20 locations in Delhi.”
