Lexus has officially introduced the petrol-powered LX 570 in India (it only had a diesel version of this car in the form of the 450d). This car is based on the mighty Toyota Land Cruiser and is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 engine which puts out 367hp and 530Nm.

The massive motor is mated to an eight-speed automatic that sends power to all four wheels. The petrol V8 gets this car to 100kph in a claimed 7.7sec.

The fuel tank is huge as well, it can accommodate 138 litres. The SUV comes with three rows of seats. The LX 570 feature list is the same as the diesel car, the 450d – you get four-zone climate control, 10 airbags, leather upholstery, 10-way adjustable powered driver's seat, 11.6-inch screens for the rear seat passengers, a 19-speaker Mark Levinson music system, and the Multi-Terrain Select system.
