Two engine options are available for the Emira: a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder Mercedes engine with 365 horsepower and a larger 3.5-liter, 406 horsepower V6 engine from Toyota.

Lotus Cars, a British supercar manufacturer, intends to enter the Indian automobile industry. November 9, 2023, will mark the company's official entry into India. Exclusive Motors has been appointed as the company's sales and service partner in India. It should be mentioned that Exclusive Motors is responsible for Bentley Motors in India as well. When it comes to the models that the company will introduce in India, nothing is known.

Lotus Automobiles is renowned for both its lightweight sports cars and the seven World Championships won by its Formula 1 team.

Lotus Automobiles sells the Emeya, Evette, Emita, and Evija worldwide. It is anticipated that the brand will use the CBU (completely built unit) route to introduce Eletre and Emira to the Indian market. Speaking of cars, the Lotus Emira is a 2021 release that is small, lightweight, and has two doors. The final model from the company with a solely internal combustion engine is the Lotus Emira. The car only has a 1,405kg weight.

The Emira's design is influenced by that of the Evija hypercar. It features twin-blade vertical LED headlamps. It has contoured scoops that direct air to the engine in addition to sharply sculpted lines throughout. The supercar also has 20-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic designs, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and a stiffer suspension system are part of the Lotus Drivers Pack, which is an optional addition.

Two engine options are available for the Emira: a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder Mercedes-sourced engine with 365 horsepower and a larger 3.5-liter, 406 horsepower V6 engine. While the smaller 2.0-liter engine comes with a DCT gearbox, the Toyota-sourced powertrain is available with both a manual and automatic transmission.

Speaking of the Lotus Eletre, this EV is the first of its kind from the company and is built on the Electric Premium Architecture. The electric SUV has a wheelbase of 3,019 mm and a seat arrangement that is longer than five meters. Enormous alloy five-spoke wheels are another feature of the EV.

The Eletre is equipped with two electric motors, one for each axle, which together generate 600 horsepower. Lotus states that the EV has a maximum speed of 260 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in less than 3 seconds. According to the WLTP cycle, the electric motors provide power to all four wheels and receive a 100 kWh battery pack with a 600 km range. With a 350kW charging capacity, Lotus claims the EV can reach 400 km of range in 20 minutes or less.
