Modified Mahindra Bolero comes with exterior and interior updates with no change in powertrain

The Bolero is a popular 7/9-seater SUV manufactured by Mahindra & Mahindra in India. It has been one of the key reasons for Mahindra's rise in the Indian market. From being just a minor player to one of the runaway leaders in the popular SUV segment. Bolero enjoys widespread popularity in the rural areas especially due to its compact and rugged body style which is a huge hit among customers. Thus, for all the Mahindra Balero fans out there, we have brought for you a unique modified version. Seen here is a 2020 Mahindra Bolero that has been modified by Revheads from Chandigarh.




Thanks to a post on 4x4 India Facebook community, we have to say the modified Bolero looks stunning, to say the least. The vehicle is aggressive and muscular looking in every direction. Designers have modified the front profile by swapping the stock bumper with a customized one with integrated skid plates. Plus, the bumpers are integrated with LED fog lamps and two tow hooks. The fog lamps are surrounded by a circular LED DRL. Its headlamp and front grille remain the same as the stock vehicle. To give the off-roader character are the customized fenders that cover the mud-terrain specific tyres with steel rims. Further the SUV features an aftermarket footstep and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. Its ground clearance has also been increased to tackle harsh terrain.




While the Interiors have been reworked to provide a leather a wrapped steering wheel and a dashboard. Further, the cabin gets a tan finish treatment. To give a more premium appearance, the designers have added faux wooden inserts on the steering wheel, AC vents and dashboard. There is also a touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto.

 


Its powertrain remains the same as the stock 2020 Mahindra Bolero. The BS6 compliant Bolero is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine having a maximum power output of 75bhp with 210 Nm of peak torque. It is available only with a manual gearbox. The SUV retails in 4 trims namely B2, B4, B6 and B6 (O) trims.
