Mahindra Funster Concept to reveal design details for Next Generation XUV500 in India. Mahindra Funster EV can accelerate from 0 -100 kmph in 5 seconds.

Concept vehicles are the real talk of the town at the Delhi Auto Expo. Mahindra and Mahindra recently released the teaser image of Funster Concept SUV that would showcase key design element of next generation XUV 500. To be unveiled tomorrow at the Auto Expo 2020, Mahindra Funster Concept follows the company’s latest design language.

 
As of what we know till now, the exterior design of Mahindra Funster stands to provide an illuminated Mahindra logo, fog lamps with LED light strips, a grille that features vertical slates and inverted L-shaped headlamps. There aren’t many details about what the side and rear profile of this concept could look like.

But going by these images, one thing is for sure that the vehicle will offer a sleeker design in comparison to what the XUV500 has been in the past.  

 
With the Funster Concept, Mahindra will showcase it might of a high-performance EV SUV. There are 4 electric motors (one for each wheel) to power the concept SUV with an expected maximum power output of 313Bhp (230Kw). Speculated performance figures go to show that Mahindra Funster EV can accelerate from 0 -100 kmph in 5 seconds. The Funster concept will be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack.
