Mahindra Plans to Deliver 14000 Units of XUV700 by January 14, 2022

Mahindra has partnered with top 3 global consulting companies to initiate early delivery of vehicles.

Mahindra & Mahindra will be commencing the deliveries of the first batch of XUV700 by October 30, 2021. Initially, the petrol variants of the SUV will be delivered followed by the diesel variants by end of November. Furthermore, the homegrown automaker plans to deliver 14000 units of Mahindra XUV700 by 14th January next year. 


Mahindra opened the bookings for the XUV700 from October 7th onwards. Having said that, the SUV received an overwhelming response with 25000 units being booked within an hour. Following this, another 25000 units were booked on 8th October, 2021, within two hours. With this, the automaker received 65000 bookings in just two weeks.

Moving on, Mahindra partnered with Global Consulting Company in order to devise and implement an algorithm based process. Through this, the automaker will be streamlining the delivery process of the customers. Talking about the delivery process, it will be based on certain parameters such as the ratio of online bookings at the dealers counter, quantum of bookings at the city & dealer level, and variant-level production feasibility based on supply chain constraints.

The new Mahindra XUV700 is offered with two engine options under the hood. The 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo charged petrol engine churns out 200 bhp power and 380 Nm peak torque. While the 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine generates a top power of 155 bhp and a peak torque of 360 Nm for the MX trim. However, for the Adreno AX trim, the engine offers 186 bhp power and 420 Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Furthermore, the diesel engine offers four driving modes namely Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom.
