The lengthened version of the TUV300 SUV, which will be called the TUV300 Plus will hit showrooms soon.
The company has tweaked the rear styling a bit and the car features redesigned tail-lamps that extend to the sides. While the car shares most of its parts with the TUV300, it will come with a different engine. The car will be powered by a 120hp, 1.99-litre engine and there are talks of Mahindra offering a 2.2-litre diesel variant too.
Dealer sources tell us that the SUV will be available in multiple seating configurations, with the lower spec trims getting as many as nine seats. The car will replace the ageing Xylo in Mahindra’s line-up.
The company will also launch the U321 MPV, to compete with the Toyota Innova Crysta, before March 2018. It will be followed by an all-new compact SUV (Code: S201) expected in mid-2018 that will be based on the SsangYong Tivoli.
