Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition Price Starts at Rs. 19.19 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the Scorpio N Carbon Edition at Rs 19.19 lakh. The edition is available only for the Z8 and Z8L variants and boasts a dramatic all-black exterior and interior theme.

Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Black Colour

The Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition receives an all-black makeover, eliminating chrome details for a stealthier appearance. The door handles, window side moulding, roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels are all painted black. The SUV is only offered in one coat of paint – Stealth Black – to further its tough and aggressive appearance.

Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon specifications

The interior of the Carbon Edition follows the same dark theme, with a blacked-out dashboard and leatherette upholstery in place of the tan standard upholstery. The roof liner and door panels also get black treatment. Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon features the Z8 and Z8L trims such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, multiple drive modes, 12-speaker audio setup, and six airbags.

Scorpio N Mileage and Performance

The powertrain options for the new Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon launched is the same. The  Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon provides a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine churning out 203hp and a 2.2-litre diesel engine churning out 175hp. Both of these engines can be had with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Interestingly, the four-wheel drive (4WD) option is only available for the diesel trims in the Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon variants.

Competitive Pricing Against Rivals

The Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon price in India is Rs 19.19 lakh which goes up to Rs 24.89 lakh, with a flat Rs 20,000 over the base Z8 and Z8L variants. The SUV is known to be a direct competition of the Tata Harrier Dark Edition which is priced from Rs 19.14 lakh and going up to Rs 26.24 lakh for the highest variant. Furthermore, the Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon black colour beats the Tata Harrier Stealth Edition, which comes only in the range-topping Fearless+ trim and is priced at a Rs 25,000 premium over the Dark Edition.
