The electric version of the KUV100 is powered by the eVerito’s 30kW motor.

One of the electric vehicles on display at the Mahindra stall was the eKUV100. The all-electric version of the KUV100 will go on sale in 2019 and is part of the company’s plan to electrify its range.

It is powered by the same 30kW motor and lithium-ion battery pack as the eVerito that’s already on sale. Mahindra says the car can cover a distance of 140km on a single charge and you can fast charge it to 80 percent in less than an hour. It could be powered by an updated motor and battery pack by the time it launches in 2019 though.

Very little tells the electric version apart from the standard car, spare for the EV badging and minor detailing. Just like on the e2o, this car comes with smartphone connectivity, remote diagnostics, cabin pre-cooling and real-time location tracking.
