2019 Maruti Baleno facelift has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 5.45 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom) for the base Sima Petrol variant while the range topping Alpha CVT is priced at Rs. 8.77 lakhs. The updated Baleno gets mild cosmetic changes, new features but the mechanicals remain the same.
The front profile of the Baleno facelift gets revised bumper and grille which makes it look more sporty. The side profile gets new diamond cut alloy wheels adding a premium touch to the car. The interiors have been revised a bit to make it look fresh. The upholstery is now dual tone that gets blue accents differentiating it with the outgoing model. The engine options remain the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel.
Maruti is now offering the new Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment system in the Baleno that made its debut with the new Wagon R. This new system comes with more features such as live traffic, weather updates, etc. Safety features of the car has been updated and it includes dual airbags, ABS (antilock braking system) with EBD (electronic brake force distribution) and brake assist, pre-tensioner and force limiter seat belts with reminder, ISOFIX child restraint system, speed alert system and rear parking sensors are standard across all variants.
