The New Maruti Ertiga will be launched on November 21 and the company has revealed some of its features.

Maruti launched the first generation of the Ertiga back in 2012 and the car was an instant hit in the mass market. Now, the manufacturer is going to launch the next generation of the MPV on November 21 and before the launch the company has revealed many features of the vehicle.

The new Ertiga will come with all-new projector headlamps, 3D LED tail lamps, chrome-studded front grille and dual-tone dashboard with wooden finish. The dashboard is ergonomically laid out and the level of craftsmanship has been improved from the previous generation. A large touchscreen infotainment system is housed in the centre console.

The next-gen Ertiga is larger in all dimensions than its predecessor. The increase in dimensions has allowed more legroom in the third row, moreover, the third row comes with a recline function. The new MPV has been developed on a fifth-gen Heartect platform and this has made the vehicle’s structure more strong and rigid.

The Ertiga will be available with two engine options – a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 105 PS of power and 138 Nm of torque or a 1.3-litre turbo diesel engine rated to produce 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox but there is an option of a 4-speed automatic with the petrol engine.
