Maruti Suzuki launched its Celerio Hatchback, the Tour H2, specifically for cab aggregators. The car is priced at Rs 4.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is based on the LXi (O) variant. Each car comes with an added speed-limiting device as standard fitment.
The Indian government now states that taxis have to be equipped with a speed limiting device to reduce the chances of road accidents. The Tour H2’s top speed is limited to 80kph. This car uses the same 68hp/90Nm, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine and five-speed manual transmission as the Celerio. The car gets the same features as the LXi (O) trim.
The company also recently launched a crossover version of the Celerio and will launch its all-New Swift here once the Auto Expo concludes.
BYD India has finally announced that it will be launching its Sealion 7 electric SUV on February 17. The BYD Sealion 7 interior stands out and was first unveiled at Auto Expo 2025. Sealion 7 is going to be BYD's most premium offering in the Indian market, directly rivaling the Kia EV6.
