The premium service centres will cater to cars sold via its Nexa dealership chain and Maruti plans to open close to 30 Nexa service centres in metro cities in the initial phase.
The look and feel will resemble that of the Nexa showrooms and they will offer express service bays as well. There’s a special lounge area for customers from where they can watch their vehicle get serviced through a glass partition. The lounge also features Wi-Fi and LED screens showcasing videos that show tech bits of Maruti vehicles. Customers can also check a live feed of the vehicle being serviced via the My Nexa app. The app allows you to live chat with the service advisor as well while.
Maruti wants to carry forward its well-received Nexa experience to its aftersales and service as well.
The centres will cater to owners of all models sold by Nexa, including the Ignis, Baleno, the S-Cross and the Ciaz. Even non-Nexa customers can get their vehicle serviced at the premium outlets. Prices are around 10-15 percent over the standard service centres’ rates.
