The S-CNG powertrain option for the Fronx has been introduced by Maruti Suzuki in India. The pricing of the two varieties of this vehicle—the Sigma and Delta—is 8.41 lakh and 9.27 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom).
It's interesting that the automaker cited a 28.51 km/kg fuel efficiency figure which is worth the Maruti Fronx CNG Price. Furthermore, the Hyundai Exter CNG will face off against the Fronx CNG.
With almost 1.4 million S-CNG cars sold in the Indian market, the Japanese carmaker now has the largest selection of CNG vehicles. They have 15 CNG variants on sale right now and the Maruti Fronx CNG variant is one of them.. The corporation moved away from diesel engines and strategically shifted to CNG powertrains.
The Fronx CNG's 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, normally aspirated engine is its power source. The engine produces a peak torque of 113 Nm at 4,400 rpm and a maximum power output of 88.50 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. The power output, however, lowers to 76 bhp at 6,000 rpm and the torque output, to 98.5 Nm at 4,300 rpm, when using CNG. Only a 5-speed manual gearbox is available with the CNG power plant.
The Fronx's 1.2-liter engine comes with a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) or a 5-speed manual gearbox, depending on the fuel model.
The 1.0-liter Booster Jet engine from the Baleno RS has also been brought back by Maruti Suzuki for the Fronx. This engine produces a maximum of 148 Nm of peak torque and 98 bhp of maximum power. It can be combined with either a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission.

Ever since its introduction at this year’s Auto Expo, the Fronx has received an overwhelming response owing to its sporty design language, advanced powertrain and premium technology”.
