Suzuki Connect is offered as an option on cars sold via Nexa.

To add more appeal to its Nexa chain, Maruti Suzuki has launched a telematics solution called Suzuki Connect for customers of the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz and S-cross.

You can only get this service at a Nexa dealership and it offers features like emergency alerts, preventive assistance, vehicle tracking, live vehicle status, driving behaviour analysis and convenience alerts.

“A nationwide extensive study was conducted to understand the challenges that Indian car owners face daily and their expectations from these solutions,” said RS Kalsi, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki. You can get the device installed by paying a premium of Rs 9,999 and once you do, you have access to integrated services through the Nexa App on your smartphone.

The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) shares information with a centralised server and is connected to the Nexa customer care through a cellular network. The company has already trained over 2,800 technicians to install the equipment.
