With the festive season round the corner, automakers are leaving no stone unturned to boost sales by offering discounts. Maruti Suzuki is no exception to the trend as it’s offering benefits on its Nexa cars for the month of September 2020. These discount offers range from Rs 5,000 to Rs 45,000 on products like the XL6, Baleno, Ignis, S-Cross and Ciaz. Plus an additional discount of Rs 5,000 is also available to perspective buyers for the ‘Shradh’ period. We therefore take a look at the different discount offers being provided currently.
Maruti Suzuki XL6:
Recently, Maruti Suzuki XL6 marked its first year anniversary in India. The XL6 is currently retailed at more than 370 Maruti Nexa showrooms across the country. In September 2020, buyers can avail an Exchange Bonus of Rs 20,000, a Corporate Discount of Rs 5,000 plus get an additional discount of Rs 5,000 under the Shradh scheme. Currently, Maruti Suzuki XL6's price starts at Rs 9,84,689 (ex-showroom), India.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno:
One of the popular models from Maruti Suzuki in India, it competes against the like of Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai i20 Elite and 2020 Honda Jazz. Maruti Suzuki is offering a Cash Discount of Rs 15,000 on all variants of the Baleno except the Sigma which gets only Rs 10,000 off. Exchange Bonus amounting to Rs 10,000 and Corporate Discount of Rs 5,000 is also offered on the hatchback. Maruti Suzuki Baleno price starts at Rs 5,63,602 (ex-showroom), India.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis:
Earlier this year at the Auto Expo 2020, Maruti introduced the Ignis Facelift. Currently, Maruti Suzuki Ignis is priced at Rs 4,89,320 (ex-showroom), India. Here the buyer benefits from a Total Cash Discount of Rs 20,000 on most of trims except the Zeta that features only a discount of Rs 10,000. Maruti Ignis also comes with an Exchange Bonus of Rs 15,000 and a Corporate Discount of Rs 5,000.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is currently being retailed at Nexa Showrooms with a price tag of Rs 8,31,974 (ex-showroom), India. Ciaz’s trims except the Alpha manual are given a Cash Discount of Rs 10,000 by the manufacturer. Rs 20,000 Exchange Bonus and Rs 5,000 Corporate Discount are applicable on this model.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Recently launched in the Indian market, Maruti S-Cross comes only with a petrol engine. Currently there is only a Corporate Discount of Rs 5,000 being offered alongside a benefit of Rs 5,000 for the Shradh period.
