Maruti Suzuki XL6 MUV Accessories Launched

Maruti Suzuki recently launched the more premium version of Ertiga MPV by the name of XL6 in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki XL6 will lock horns with the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Toyota Innova Crysta in the Indian market. Unlike the Ertiga which is sold via Arena dealerships, the XL6 will be sold via the more premium NEXA dealership of the brand. Now the brand has released dealership-level accessories for their latest MUV in the Indian market. Like all other NEXA products, the XL6 accessories will be available via an online configurator wherein the customers can customise their vehicle as per their need on the website itself.

All one has to do is to head to the NEXA website where one will get an interactive catalogue of accessories which can be mixed and matched as per the needs of the user. There are several permutations available for customising one's car. These specifications can be then handed over to your local dealer and the dealership will customise the vehicle just like the way you wanted it to look.

While the accessory selection may look small for the XL6 as of now, the coming times may see more additions to the same. As of now the brand is offering body side moulding, door visors, window frame kit, number plate garnish and rear upper spoiler for the exteriors. The interior customisations constitute styling kit and mats. There are also aftermarket Head Units for the infotainment system listed on the configurator. The best part is the price of all the optional accessories are listed on the site itself. This allows the customer to choose the accessories while keeping an eye on the overall price of the vehicle.

The XL6 MUV has a more aggressive stance, something that looks like a cross between SUV and MPV, with leanings toward the latter. Talking of the front side of the new XL6, the front also carries an aggressive look, courtesy the redesigned grille along with the LED elements in the headlamp. Other exterior highlights include a new front grille, bumper inserts at the front and rear, cladding on the sides, new alloy wheels, roof rails and more cladding on the hatch lid. The 15--inch alloy wheels also boost the looks of the MPV. In order to keep the cabin spacious and more upmarket Maruti offers six seats on the XL6. These seats are in the 2-2-2 layout and comprise of captain seats in the middle row with slide and recline function. The new XL6 is also a lot more premium from the inside.

The company will sell the XL6 with a SHVS mild-hybrid 1.5L petrol engine rated to deliver 105 Bhp and 138 Nm. This petrol mill will come paired to a 5 speed manual and 4 speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The mileage for the manual transmission version is 19.01 km/l while the 4-speed automatic version returns a maximum of 17.99 km/l (ARAI figures).
