The car is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

The AMG-badged S 63 Coupé 4Matic+ will go on sale on June 18. The car is powered by an AMG-sourced 4.0-litre V8 unit which puts out 612hp and 900Nm. The engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and is channelled via a fully variable 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system. The engine has two twin-scroll turbochargers to improve engine responses and it even comes with a cylinder deactivation system for better fuel consumption.

The S 63 Coupé also gets a Race Start function, which helps it hit 100kph in a claimed 3.5sec. The car comes with an electronically limited top speed of 250kph, but if you get the AMG Driver’s package, this can be extended to 300kph. On the inside, there is Nappa leather and AMG badges all around. The cabin comes with a new 12.3-inch TFT widescreen colour display that gives you information about the car’s parts in real-time.

The S 63 Coupé 4Matic+ could cost above Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom) in India and it will compete with the Porsche Panamera Turbo and the Bentley Continental GT.
