It uses a new BS-VI-compliant diesel engine that can run on BS-IV grade fuel as well.

The main talking point is the new diesel engine (codename: OM 656) which adheres to Bharat Stage VI emission standards while running on lower grade BS-IV grade fuel. This will be the first car that’s made in India that’s BSVI-compliant. The carmaker will launch the car on February 26th.

The in-line, Six-Cylinder Diesel Engine makes a total of 286hp and 600Nm. The government intends to shift to BS-VI fuels in April 2020, with Delhi expected to get it by April 2018. On the outside, the car gets new headlamps, tail-lamps and bumpers.

The cabin has a new 12.3-inch touchscreen unit, new wood and leather trim option for the interior inlays and seats sides, a new fragrance and added ambient lighting options. The rest remains unchanged.
