It will directly rival the likes of Honda Hornet 2.0, Suzuki Gixxer 155 and TVS Apache RTR 160

Bajaj Auto India will launch the Pulsar 180 naked motorcycle very soon in the country. The company already retails the semi-flared Pulsar 180F Neon in the Indian market. Though, the home-grown automaker is yet to make an official statement regarding this but some of the dealers, on condition of anonymity, have revealed that the new Bajaj Pulsar 180 will be priced at Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom). It will directly rival the likes of Honda Hornet 2.0, Suzuki Gixxer 155 and TVS Apache RTR 160 in its segment.

The 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 will be presented in a naked avatar which will resemble the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 range. It will flaunt a halogen headlight with two daytime running lamps (DRLs) and a tinted visor upfront. In addition, it will also boast of a bikini fairing, bigger fuel tank and engine cowl. The bike will be equipped with a split-seat setup and pillion grab rail. The hardware quality will be identical as the semi-flared version of the motorcycle. The suspension duties will be helmed by telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged springs towards the rear. The New Pulsar 180 will come equipped with disc brakes at both ends while a single-channel ABS will be offered as a standard safety feature.

It will be powered by a 178.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine, which we have already seen on the Pulsar 180F Neon. It delivers a top power of 16.6 bhp and peak torque of 14.52 Nm while being linked to a 5-speed transmission. The bookings for the motorcycle are expected to start in the coming few weeks with the price announcement after that. Stay tuned for more updates on the same!
