The leading French car manufacturer Citroen is all set to unveil its big C5 Aircross SUV in a new avatar in the Indian market. Ahead of its official launch, the India-bound C5 Aircross has been unveiled as a prototype at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. Citroen has previewed the design of the new generation Citroen C5 Aircross through its concept model, which may be expected to arrive sleeker and with far more modern accents than the standard C5 Aircross, which is already on sale in the Indian market. The outgoing C5 Aircross is available at a starting price tag of INR 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Citroen C5 Aircross Design
The new-generation Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is likely to be released in the Indian market sometime by 2026. It comes equipped with a remarkably enhanced design language. The upcoming production model is expected to get more traditional treatments and design elements. The concept version of the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV features a lower nose, a sharply raked roofline, and flatter sculpting all around. Other enhancements incorporate a three-point light signature and the brand’s new logo.

Citroen C5 Aircross Features
The Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is expected to come equipped with 20-inch wheels, LED headlamps and DRLs, split wrap-around tail lamps, and a floating roofline. When it comes to the interior, the car’s cabin is likely to be loaded with elements like dual digital displays, a sunroof, two rows of seating, rear AC vents, adjustable front-row seats, and more.
Citroen C5 Aircross Powertrain
The new-gen C5 Aircross is going to be the first Citroen car to take inspiration from Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform. According to the brand, the C5 Aircross SUV will draw power from hybrid, ICE, and electric powertrain options. However, the company has not shared anything specific regarding the powertrains of the forthcoming C5 Aircross. In terms of dimensions, the C5 Aircross SUV concept is 1,660 mm in height and 4,650 mm in length, which makes it 39 mm shorter and 150 mm longer than the outgoing C5 Aircross.
