The spy-images indicate the mule is in its production-ready avatar

Royal Enfield has been testing the new-generation Classic 350 for the past few months on the Indian roads. The upcoming motorcycle has been spotted multiple times as a test mule. Recently, it was spied testing once again by our friends at Grasholt Vlogs ahead of its purported launch which is expected in the next couple of months. The spy-images indicate the mule is in its production-ready guise. The home-grown bikemaker is working on a plethora of new bikes which includes a 650cc cruiser motorcycle as well.

Going by the spy-images, the new-gen Royal Enfield Classic is wearing a black colored camouflage. But it doesn't take away anything from us as the bike has been previously spotted almost undisguised. One can notice the headlamp cluster with chrome surrounds. In addition, the chrome headlight forehead extension, which lends a retro look to the bike, is also clearly visible. The fog lamps, in particular, are blacked out. The instrument console has been restyled which will provide several information to the rider like fuel level, clock, odometer, trip meter etc. to name a few. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will also boast of the company's Tripper Navigation system which was first seen with the recently launched Meteor 350.

Mechanically, the new-gen Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be powered by the same BS6 compliant 349cc single-cylinder petrol engine which debuted with the Meteor. The newly developed mill comes with a SOHC and a balancer shaft. The aforementioned engine returns power output of 20.2bhp and torque performance of 27Nm with the Meteor 350 while linked to a 5-speed transmission. The top power and peak torque are likely to remain the same with the Classic 350. It will directly rival the Honda CB350 in the Indian market. The 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 price is expected to be around Rs 1.75-1.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom), depending upon the variants and different color choices offered by the brand.
