The carmaker says that the new schemes are aimed at reducing ownership costs, and are more affordable than the competition.

After launching the all-new E-class, Mercedes has announced a comprehensive list of service packages for the sedan. There are 45 packages in total, ranging in tenure from 2 –10 years and priced between Rs 64,700 and Rs 9,03,200.

They include maintenance cost, parts, and consumables and can be purchased with an unlimited mileage option as well.

Interestingly, the service packages for the new car cost lesser than those for the older car, and Mercedes-Benz says that they are also cheaper than what rival companies offer on their sedans. The carmaker also states that buyers are increasingly becoming conscious of the ownership costs of a vehicle. Now, with the new service packages, they intend on not just lowering the expenditure on the cars, but also improving the resale value of the models by keeping the service packages transferable to the next owner.

Mercedes will soon roll out similar service packages for its remaining offerings, which the company hopes, will help improve the ownership experience for all its buyers.
