Audi will completely ditch petrol engines for the new generation R8 and it will be an all-electric supercar.

Audi will launch the next generation supercar R8 in an all-electric form. The all-electric car with Audi’s Quattro tech when launched will be in hypercar territory. The car is likely to be named as R8 E-tron.
The R8 E-tron will be inspired from PB18 e-tron concept. The vehicle will be developed solely by keeping performance in mind. The 2022 model with electric motors and Quattro tech will produce an output of 1014 HP and will propel the car from standstill to 100 km/hr in just over 2 seconds. The top speed will be easily above 300 km/hr.
