Nissan India has introduced a virtual showroom for its range of vehicles in the country. The models that will be available on sale via this virtual showroom are Nissan Kicks, Nissan GT-R, Datsun GO, Datsun GO+ and Datsun redi-GO. It is the company's biggest move in the direction of accentuating customer buying experience since 2013 when it started online bookings back then. The Japanese automaker has put the recently launched 2020 Nissan Kicks BS6 at the centre of display in the virtual showroom with 360-degree view of exterior and interior.

Announcing the Nissan virtual showroom in India, below is what Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan, said: We are strengthening our commitment in line with our customer-centric approach by bringing the showroom experience to customers’ location through a Virtual Showroom with a digitally enabled car purchase journey. It allows our customers to experience and own our products with complete confidence, convenience and with zero physical contact.” As a matter of fact, the prospective buyers can also get a brief regarding the various interior and exterior features of the SUV by clicking on the ‘+’ sign. The new virtual showroom also enables a buyer to see the model in all the available colors.

If you are expecting Nissan virtual showroom to have an online configurator then you need to wait a bit more as this feature is not available presently. However, in future, the company might add this feature so that the customers can see their favorite vehicle in their desired configuration. Nissan is also expected to add the all-new Magnite sub 4-meter SUV to the virtual showroom as well. It will be launched by September 2020 in the Indian market to take on the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Several reports have indicated that Nissan Magnite price will be the lowest in its segment, starting just from Rs 5.25 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
