The 2018 update for the Micra and Micra Active models will see them get more equipment and safety tech. The models are priced between Rs 6.20 lakh and Rs 7.90 lakh, and between Rs 5.03 lakh and Rs 5.98 lakh, respectively.
There are no changes to the car’s styling. The only addition includes turn indicators on the outside mirrors. The top-spec Micra petrol-CVT also gets a rear spoiler now. Both cars now get dual front airbags as standard across the range, a driver’s seatbelt warning indicator and a speed warning. Rear parking sensors are also standard across all variants.
The Micra XV and Micra Active XV (the top-spec trims) now come with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink.
The Micra Active is still powered by the same 68hp/104Nm, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, while the Micra gets two engine options – a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol that puts out 77hp and 104Nm (mated to a CVT automatic), and the same K9K 1.5-litre diesel producing 64hp and 160Nm, paired to a five-speed manual gearbox.
