Nissan Magnite Bookings Cross 50,000 Mark

The top-spec XV and XV Premium variants of the Magnite are high in demand.

Nissan Motor India has achieved yet another milestone as it has bagged 50,000 bookings for its Magnite SUV. The company claims that Magnite has received over 2,78,000 enquiries since its launch and more than 10,000 units have been delivered to date. Nissan Magnite is offered in a total of four variants - XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium. The top-end XV and XV Premium trims account for almost 60 percent of the bookings. While 15 percent of the bookings have been made for the CVT model.


The Magnite SUV can be booked either by going to the nearest dealerships or online via Nissan’s official website. Out of the 50,000 bookings, 10 percent of the bookings have been made online. The SUV is based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi CMF-A + platform. It comes equipped with a plethora of segment-first features.

The Magnite houses two petrol engine under the bonnet. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine churns out a maximum power of 71 bhp and a peak torque of 96 Nm. The engine can be had with a 5-speed manual gearbox. While the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit generates 99 bhp power and 160 Nm peak torque. Transmission options here include a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
