Nissan India claims lowest-in-class maintenance costs of just 29 paise/km (for 50,000 kms).

Since its launch on the 2nd of December 2020, Nissan Magnite continues to be the newsmaker in the Indian automotive market. With over 15,000 plus booking for the subcompact SUV, Nissan might have initially found the key to success in India. Nissan India had struggled to find a way to carve a niche in the lucrative and competitive subcompact SUV segment in the country, but it looks to have turned a corner with the Magnite. Now, the Japanese automaker claims the lowest in segment maintenance costs for the vehicle. This in addition to the affordable price certainly promises to be a game-changer for the brand. At a special introductory price of Rs, 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) rising to Rs 5.54 lakh (ex-showroom) post 31st December 2020, Nissan Magnite is the cheapest subcompact SUV currently available in the Indian market.

As per the statement released by the automaker, the Magnite will come with the lowest-in-class maintenance cost of just 29 paise/km (for 50,000 kms). The manufacturer is also offering a warranty of 2 years/50,000 km which can be further extended to 5 years/100,000 km at an additional cost. Plus, customers can avail multiple labour-free servicing at all Nissan authorized service centers in the country.

Nissan India has introduced a prepaid maintenance plan named “Nissan Magnite Care". It would help the customer in saving up to 22 percent in their maintenance costs. This specific scheme is applicable for 2 to 5 years and is available at all Nissan’s authorized dealerships. The package comes in two options - Gold and Silver. The former comes with comprehensive periodic maintenance service while the latter covers basic maintenance service. The maintenance plan can be transferred in case the buyer decides to sell his or her car.

“Nissan as a customer-centric brand understands the importance of providing unique value-added services to its discerning Indian customers like the online service booking, the online service calculator and a completely enhanced digital ecosystem. The all-new Nissan Magnite comes with over 20 best-in-class and first-in-class features with the Nissan Promise of Lowest cost of maintenance", commented Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India on the eve of the announcement.
