The much-awaited Nissan Magnite has been launched today at an introductory price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), India. This special price is valid for all bookings made till the 31st of December, 2020. Post this date, the subcompact SUV's prices will start from Rs 5.54 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-end variant retailing at Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom), Delhi. Magnite is available in 4 variants namely XE, XL, XV and XV Premium. The Indian buyers can look forward to two petrol engine options - a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and 1.0-litre turbo units. The former comes with a 5-speed manual transmission while the latter is offered with both 5-speed manual and CVT gearboxes. Looking at the SUV in detail, here are variants and prices explained of the Nissan Magnite.
The entry-level variant comes at an introductory price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), India till December 31, 2020. Post that, its price will increase to Rs 5.54 lakh (ex-showroom), India. It comes with only one powertrain option which is the 1.0-litre B4D petrol. Talking about the design, the subcompact SUV flaunts halogen headlamps with manual levelizer, body-coloured front and rear bumpers, split taillamps and coloured roof rails. There is plenty of chrome influence on different design elements like bumper, grille and fenders. Moving on-to the interior, the cabin boasts of features like LED instrument cluster with a 3.5-inch LCD Display, adjustable headrest front & rear, gear shift indicator among others. It misses out on the 7-inch TFT Advanced Multifunctional infotaintment system seen in the top-end variants. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder for front-row occupants and child lock.
The mid-spec variant is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), India. It comes with two petrol engine options - 1.0 litre naturally aspirated and turbo HRA0. Both these engine units come with a manual transmission while the turbo engine gets advanced CVT gearbox. Expect standard design elements like sleek halogen headlamps, signature split taillamps, chrome-finished front grille and body-coloured bumpers. Door handles come with a chrome finish in the CVT model only. There is an addition of a turbo emblem on the exterior to distinguish the turbocharged petrol model from the naturally aspirated one. The cabin provides features like front & rear speakers, Bluetooth support, USB slot, adjustable headrest front and rear. Safety features onboard the subcompact SUV include dual front airbags, SBS with EBD, rear parking sensors, anti-roll bar, seat belt reminder for driver and passenger. ISOFIX child anchorage point is present on the XL variant with the turbocharged engine.
The New Nissan Magnite XV variant costs Rs 6.88 lakh (ex-showroom), India. Its exterior design is almost similar to that of the base variant. Its striking highlights are chrome finished door handles and side turn indicators. Further the trim caters to silver skid plates integrated into the front and rear bumper. The interior is loaded with features like a floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, a rearview camera, HVAC airflow indicator and a 2.4 A USB slot. Its steering wheel comes mounted with audio control, voice recognition control, telephone connectivity among the rest. Additionally, safety features on-board comprise of dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, central door lock driver side switch, speed-sensing lock among many others. The manufacturer is offering two petrol engine options - 1.0-litre B4D with 5-speed manual gearbox and 1.0-litre Turbo HRA0 with 5-speed maual stick plus a CVT transmission.
Nissan Magnite XV Premium price starts from Rs 7.55 lakh (ex-showroom), India. The top-end variant stands out with design elements like LED dual projector headlamps, LED turn indicators and chrome finished door handles that lend it a premium look. On the inside, the cabin comes equipped with elements like a 7-inch TFT Advanced (Multifunctional) display, LED instrument cluster with 3.5-inch LCD display, floating 8-inch touchscreen with compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Further, the manufacturer has given exciting additions for buyers like a rear camera, iPod support, 60:40 Split rear seat and cruise control. The top-end variant comes fitted with two engine choices - 1.0-litre B4D with a 5-speed manual transmssion and a 1.0-litre Turbo HRA0 catering to a 5-speed gearbox alongside a CVT.
Nissan India is also offering a Tech Pack at an additional cost of Rs 25,000- Rs 30,000. It comes with additional features like wireless chargering, air purifier, LED scuff plates, ambient LED lighting and puddle lamps.
