Toyota India has officially commenced the bookings for the 2022 Glanza facelift in the country. The new hatchback can be booked at a token amount of Rs 11,000 online at the company website as well as at the company dealerships in the Indian market. Based on the recently introduced Maruti Baleno facelift, the 2022 Toyota Glanza facelift will be launched on March 15 in India. It will rival the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno and Honda Jazz in the domestic market.
Being termed as ‘Cool new Glanza’, it will boast of several advanced features in the form of head-up display, 360-degree camera and touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The new hatchback will also feature Toyota's home-grown 'Hey Toyota Voice Assistant' connected car technology. Design-wise, the 2022 Glanza facelift will flaunt Toyota signature front fascia with stylish front grille and bumper. It will be equipped with 6-airbags as one of the safety features. The hatch will come with a warranty of 3 years/100,000 kms and option of warranty extension of up to 5 years/220,000 kms, a periodic service in just 60 minutes via EM60, Roadside Assistance, and booking online service.
The normally aspirated 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine is the only one that supports the EZ Shift 5-speed AMT transmission option, however. The Magnite already has the option of a more expensive CVT transmission in its higher trims, thus it does not come with the Turbo engine option. The cost-effective EZ Shift AMT's standout features include a second manual drive mode, clever creep, and more.
