Ola Electric has declared that they have bagged their all-time peak registration of 30,000 units in the month of November. The company has recorded a MoM growth of 30 percent and a YoY growth of 82 percent. Ola Electric held a 35 percent market share in the electric scooter segment.
The Bengaluru-based startup has held its pole position for the last five quarters, beginning in September 2022. Ola recently enlarged its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the new S1 X and S1 Air in the domestic market. The S1 Pro (second generation) is currently priced at INR 1,47,499, whereas the S1 Air is available at a price of INR 1,19,999. The S1 X, on the other hand, is available in three variants. The S1 X (2 kWh version) is priced at INR 89,999, and the S1 X (3 kWh version) costs INR 99,999, while the S1 X+ is available at a price of INR 1,09,999. All prices are initial and ex-showroom. When the booking window starts, buyers are required to pay INR 999 to bag the electric S1 X scooters.

The new Ola electric scooters are now based on the Gen2 platform. The platform comes with a safer battery set and a robust electric motor. The chassis is lighter, and the floorboard is flat. The multi-spoke wheels and single front fork are replaced by five-spoke alloy wheels and a conventional telescopic fork. The new Ola models also get new wiring, internals, a slimmer tail lamp, and a new grab rail.
