Ola Electric will reopen the purchase window on November 1, 2021

Ola Electric has broken its own records by selling electric scooters worth Rs 1100 crore in just two days. The Chennai-based electric vehicle manufacturer opened the purchase window on September 15. On the first day itself, the brand made sales worth over Rs 600 crore. The reservation window will remain open for the new buyers. Those interested can get the bookings done on the Ola app and www.olaelectric.com. The next purchase window will open on November 1.

All the customers who reserved the Ola scooter but were unable to purchase in the window that ended yesterday will be able to purchase directly on November 1.

The brand launched the Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters last month at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) in the country. It further claimed that it received an overwhelming response during the pre-booking and reservation phase. Besides these, Ola Electric received four orders every second.

“In total over 2 days, we have done over INR 1100 crores in sales! This is unprecedented not just in the automotive industry but it is one of the highest sales in a day (by value) for a single product in Indian e-commerce history! We truly are living in a digital India. Day 2 of the EV era was even better than Day 1! Crossed ₹1100Cr in sales in 2 days! The purchase window will reopen on Nov 1 so reserve now if you haven't already. Thank you, India for the love & trust. You are the revolution!" as commented by Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola CEO.

Feature-wise, both e-scooters get all-LED lighting, a 7-inch TFT instrument console with touchscreen function, a single-sided suspension, 12-inch wheels, and disc brakes. The riders can access a plethora of features through the instrument console. These include Mood display, Navigation, 3 GB RAM, Smartphone pairing, Cruise Control, Voice-Assist, among many others. Talking about the color options, the S1 will be offered in five color schemes. While the S1 Pro will come in a total of 10 color options.
