Ola Electric Scooter was unveiled on August 15, 2021 and bookings started on the same day. It was offered in two variants namely S1 and S1 Pro at prices of Rs 99,999 and Rs 1.29 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). Bhavish stated through his official Twitter handle that, "Registrations and deliveries are now scaling up very rapidly, even in small towns and rural areas. We’re going to get everyone their S1 very soon!" Ola had faced a lot of flak from its rival brands for the delay in deliveries. In fact, several customers who had booked the scooter 2-3 months in advance were upset about the repeated delays and rising waiting period. But, it seems as if Ola has finally ramped up the production and deliveries will now progress at a much faster pace.

Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro have a range of 121 kms and 181 kms, respectively, on a single charge. Some of the notable features in the electric scooter are Speakers for music, Mood display, Navigation, 3 GB RAM, Reverse Assist, Cruise Control, Voice-Assist and Hill Hold Control. Ola S1 is at loggerheads with Bajaj Chetak Electric, TVS iQube, Ather 450X and Simple One in the Indian market. The company has also built 9 customized Ola S1 Pro scooters for the Embassy of The Netherlands in New Delhi on special order. The scooters will also be delivered to the Consulates General in Mumbai and Bengaluru. They come painted in the custom orange shade, the official color of The Netherlands, and will also sport the official logo of The Netherlands.
