Ola S1 X 4kWh Variant Launched in India; Priced at INR 1.10 Lakh

Ola Electric has launched a new variant of the S1 X electric scooter. The new electric scooter gets a larger 4 kWh battery pack. The 2024 S1 X 4kWh electric scooter variant is available at a price of INR 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The manufacturer will commence deliveries of the new electric scooter in April, alongside other Ola variants incorporating the S1 X+.

The new electric scooter comes in a variety of color schemes, including Vogue, Red Velocity, Funk, Midnight, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver. The 4 kWh is the largest battery set on the S1 X lineup of electric scooters. The new variant is about INR 20,000 more costly than the S1 X 3kWh trim. The entry-level S1 X 2kWh variant comes at the same price of INR 79,999 (ex-showroom).

The Ola S1 X 4kWh comes with the same mechanical features as the S1 X 3kWh. The scooter can go from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds, whereas its top speed is rated at 90 kmph. The electric motor integrated in the scooter continues to make 6 kW (8 bhp). The new S1 X 4kWh gets three riding modes: Eco, Sports, and Normal.

The CEO and co-founder of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal, said that the brand had a conversion with several customers, and they wanted a high range and a low price. The CEO described its new electric product as “the range of an S1 Pro but the price of an S1 X."

Ola has also announced that it is planning to expand its service network to 600 outlets by April. Currently, it provides services to 400 outlets. The scooter manufacturer is all set to introduce 10,000 fast chargers by April. The brand now has six electric scooters in its portfolio, including new models. The base variant, S1 X (2 kWh), is available at a price of INR 79,999 (ex-showroom). This scooter can go up to 95 km and has a high speed of 85 km/hr.
