One Moto Electa E-Scooter Launched at Rs 1.99 Lakhs

It is One Moto's third product in India after the Commuta and Byka high-speed electric scooters

One Moto, the UK-based electric two-wheeler maker, has launched the Electa scooter at a sticker price of Rs 1.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the Indian market. It is the British brand's third product in India after the Commuta (Rs 1.30 Lakh) and Byka (Rs 1.80 Lakh) high-speed electric scooters which were launched in November 2021. One Moto Electa e-scooter will be available in five color options namely Matt Black, Shiny Black, Blue, Red, and Gray. It has been presented with a 3 years standard warranty on motor, controller and battery.

Identical to every One Moto product, the Electa gets ‘One-App’ which comprises of features like Geo-fencing, IoT and Bluetooth. This app also shares various types of data with the riders such as maintenance alerts and commuting behavior. The bells and whistles on-board include analogue display, Hydraulic disk brakes (front/rear), and optional chrome upgrades. “We forayed in the Indian market with the very objective of addressing the EV requirements of those looking for something chic and unique. We have brought the grandeur of British style packaged in our electric vehicle offerings for the niche in India. The cutting -edge technology, wrapped in carefully crafted design makes it a premium product for our target audience.” said Muzammil Riyaz, Partner & Promoter, One-Moto India.

One Moto Electa is powered by a 72V 45AH detachable lithium-ion battery pack which can be fully charged in just 4 hours. It has a top speed of 85kmph while the 0-50kmph sprint time is 3.3 seconds. The 4kW Bosch electric motor delivers a range of 150 kilometers while it merely takes 10 seconds to replace it. The scooter comes with a carrying capacity of 150 kgs. The net weight of the e-scooter stands at 115 kgs. “India is welcoming EV adoption, and we are focused on providing quality products to catalyze the same. The idea is to launch high-speed quality premium products, and begin distribution from the key metro cities. We don’t just want to serve Indian customers with our scooters but give them the complete end-to-end experience they have been getting while running ICE engine vehicles," said Shubhankar Chaudhry- CEO, One-Moto India.
