The company will showcase its first semi-autonomous car this year and the production version is likely to be launched in 2018. The DS 7 crossback SUV features Level-2 self-driving technology and PSA will follow it up with the Citroen C5 Aircross in the second half of 2018. The company plans to introduce fully autonomous Cars by the year 2020.

At Level-2, the DS 7 crossback can maintain the car in its lane and shift to let other vehicles pass. The car will also feature a self-parking facility as part of its advanced driver assistance system. The company will roll out Level-3 vehicles from 2020 and is working with a fleet of 12 prototypes that feature Level-3 self-driving capabilities.
