The third-generation Range Rover Sport to get several design updates

Jaguar Land Rover is all set to take the wraps off the 2022 Range Rover Sport on May 10. Having said that, the automaker has released an official teaser video and a set of images regarding the same online. As per the teaser image, the SUV will come with a subtle design and feature updates. The previous-generation model was one of the company’s best-selling cars. With the launch of the third-generation Range Rover Sport, the automaker embarks on an electrification program. Once launched in the Indian market, the new Range Rover Sport will rival the likes of Mercedes Benz GLE, BMW X5, Volvo XC90, and Porsche Cayenne.

The teaser images revealed that the upcoming Range Rover Sport will get slimmer LED headlights and tweaked fenders. The side profile looks identical to the previous generation. The new SUV will further get the brand’s new MLA Flex architecture which claims to bring 50 percent more torsional stiffness and reduce structure-borne noise by 24 percent. Furthermore, it also improves rolling refinement. 

The upcoming Range Rover Sport is likely to get a new interior layout. The vehicle will further get a large touchscreen that will be positioned lower on the dashboard. The expected feature list includes a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, a rear entertainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, and many more. The safety kit will comprise a 360-degree camera, remote park assists, and adaptive cruise control with steering assist to name a few.
