The upcoming twin-cylinder Royal-Enfield will debut in November at the EICMA motorcycle show.

After numerous spy shots and speculation, Royal-Enfield’s upcoming twin-cylinder motorcycle will finally be revealed at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy in November 2017. Spy pictures of this upcoming motorcycle have been a frequent.

A new spy shot revealed that there could be two or more models using this new engine. We expect one to be a Continental GT/café racer motorcycle and one to be a standard motorcycle, something similar to Royal Enfield’s Classic. Just like Royal Enfield’s outgoing models, the bigger twin-cylinder motorcycles will have differentiating factors like the fuel tank and the seat. Other than that, we expect both the motorcycles to be more or less the same. The motorcycle will be almost identical mechanically, and will also run the same suspension and brakes as well.

Even though there are numerous rumours suggesting this new engine is a 750cc unit, there is no confirmation yet. Royal Enfield has revealed close to no details about this upcoming bike. A reliable source has suggested that this new engine will be more than 800cc, so that it can directly rival the Triumph Bonneville Street Twin.
