Renault Cars 3 New Models to be Launched by 2025.

The French auto player - Renault is now all set to set the Indian auto market ablaze by entering into the SUV segment which is one of the most popular choices amongst the indians. Currently, Kwid, Triber, and Kiger are only Renault car models in the Indian market. However, By 2025, the goal is to release two internal combustion models and one electric car.

Venkatram Mamillapalle, CEO & MD of Renault India Operations, stated in a conversation that the business aims to join the category with a lot of innovations. "The three (existing models) will continue...And then the new products will come in..We will go into the four plus meters segment, 4.3 meters basically," he remarked.

New models of Renault cars will enter the market and compete with numerous well-known models, including the Creta, Seltos, and Grand Vitara.

Though the company has discontinued the sales of Renault Duster for now, Mamillapalle remarked  "And hopefully we are trying to enter with the way we entered with Duster, we will also enter into this segment with a lot of innovations. The activity has already started."

When asked if the Renault upcoming cars would be the next generation of Duster, he said: "Duster is a fascinating vehicle and that is the inspiration for Renault to be in India. And I do not know whether we will call Duster or we are bringing Duster or Duster replacement. Or whatever you call it. But we are getting into that segment."

The Renault-Nissan partnership announced investments of about Rs 5,300 crore in the nation in February. Six new models representing the two global brands will be released by the two corporations as part of the latest round of investments, including two electric vehicles.
