The seven-seater Renault Grand Duster was caught on the camera during its TVC shoot. The spy image of the same has surfaced online. The image reveals the overall design and styling of the upcoming car.
Design-wise, the upcoming seven-seater Renault Duster gets an aggressive look. Upfront, it features sleek-looking LED headlights. In addition, the SUV gets an updated front bumper with fog lights and a faux skid plate. On the sides, it is seen with a new set of diamond-cut alloy wheels. The image also reveals silver-colored wing mirrors and roof rails. Moving on, the B-pillar of the test mule is seen cladded in black plastic, while the other pillars are finished in body color. The rear end boasts of revised LED tail-lights. Renault has extended the wheelbase of the vehicle in order to accommodate the third row of seats. From the image, we could also make out the blacked-out windows and body-colored door handles.
Talking about the seating configuration, the seven-seater Duster will be offered in 6- and 7-seat. The 6-seater variant will get a captain seat in the middle row, while the 7-seater variant will come with a bench-type seat in the second row. Besides these, we can also expect the SUV to get the Eco-G version with bi-fuel technology. There are also speculations that Renault might offer the vehicle with both a front-wheel drive and a 4X4 drive system. As for the launch, the automaker has no plans to introduce the seven-seater Duster in the Indian market. However, the third-gen Duster might arrive in India by 2022-23.
