BS6 compliant Renault Duster petrol has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 8.49 Lakhs

BS6 deadline of 1st April 2020 is just a couple of weeks away and Indian automobile manufacturers are working around the clock to launch BS6 compliant vehicles before the end of actual deadline. In this regard, Renault India has launched the BS6 compliant Duster SUV at an introductory price of Rs 8.49 lakh (Ex-Showroom) Delhi. The New Renault Duster SUV comes in 3 variants namely RXE, RXS, and RXZ.  BS6 compliant Renault Duster competes against the likes of Nex-Gen Hyundai Creta, Nissan Terrano Maruti S-Cross,  in the Indian market. With this new introduction, the price of Duster BS6 base variant is Rs 50,000 more than its predecessor BS4 base model. Renault Duster made its debut way back in 2012 and paved the way for Renault Duster to make its presence felt in the Indian market.

Available with only a petrol engine, New Renault Duster BS6 is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 104.5 bhp of maximum power output and 142 Nm of peak torque. The engine is matted to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Currently there is no information on the porspects of the 1.3-litre turbo petrol or CVT but what we can tell you is that they should be arriving really soon. Renault had already launched the facelifted Duster in November 2019 and now there are few upgrades in the newer BS6 model. These updates include a new grille, revamped taillights and muscular bumpers at both front and the rear. 

The Renault Duster 2020 interior is packed with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, Rear AC Vents, steering mounted audio controls among many others. Renault has discontinued the diesel model for the time being however depending upon the demand the company could re-introduce it in the near future.
