A stunning modification of Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 into Cafe Style Racer motorcycle

Royal Enfield is making rapid strides across the globe with their range of motorcycles. The Indian two-wheeler giant's bikes are a raging hit due to the unique exhaust sound, design and engine performance. It is not just the stock bikes on-demand, modified ones are making news with some of them exhibiting stunning design, to say the least. Recently, we have come across another such example of a modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. King Indian YouTube channel has uploaded a video showcasing a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 modified into a Cafe Style Racer. The modified bike stands out for its unique black glossy paint job with yellow pinstripes.

This particular Royal Enfield Interceptor's new look is quite appealing as the designers have added all-new fibreglass cowl. Further, the front profile comes with a completely new LED headlight unit and turn indicators. The rear is revamped with a shorter tail frame, new taillights but its mudguard is missing. This could actually be a hindrance during the rainy season. The stock Interceptor 650 motorcycle's chrome elements visible on the engine and wheels have been traded for an all-black finish. Giving a cafe racer look is the GT 650 sourced clip-on replacing the single-piece handlebar. The modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 comes with a single-seat option with no seating facility for a pilllion.

Only the exhaust has been touched with no updates on the engine. The modified Interceptor 650 continues to be powered by a 648cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin engine delivering 47 bhp of maximum power output and 52 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care by a 6-speed sequential gearbox with slipper clutch offered as standard. The  modifiers have not disclosed the actual cost of the changes made to the motorcycle. In the Indian market, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 price starts from Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Recently, the manufacturer also launched Meteor 350 in the Indian market replacing the older Thunderbird 350. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 retails at an introductory price of Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom), India. The new cruiser bike is offered in three variants namely Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. It is powered by a new J-series 349cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. This motor delivers 20.2 bhp of maximum power output @6100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque @4000 rpm. The two-wheeler comes equipped with a  5-speed gearbox. It will rival against the likes of newly launched Honda H’ness CB 350 and Jawa motorcycle in the domestic market.
